Introduction
A sleek rebrand for a local favorite with big flavor and even bigger personality.*
A Truly Magical Experience!
CRU Kombucha came to me with great product—but branding that wasn’t doing it justice. Their existing logo felt dated and disconnected from the energy of the brand. I partnered with them to redesign their visual identity from the ground up, creating a bold new logo system, color palette, and real-world brand applications built to catch attention and elevate perception.

*
Problem
Great Product. Forgettable Presence.
Despite having a loyal following and quality product, CRU's brand identity wasn’t keeping up. The logo lacked versatility, and the overall look didn’t feel relevant or refined. This posed a real issue for visibility—especially at local events, where they relied heavily on physical assets like tents, growlers, and trade show displays to drive attention and connection. They needed a brand system that felt just as fresh, smooth, and cool as the product itself.

*
Solution
A Modern Identity Built for Real-World Impact
The redesign began with a clean, minimal logo system that could flex across both packaging and promotional materials. From there, I built out a fresh color palette that captured the vibrancy of the product without feeling overplayed. Then came mockups—updated can designs, growlers, and trade show materials like tents, table covers, and backdrops—crafted to show how the brand could live in physical space with confidence.
The new identity is built to stand out while staying true to the local roots of the company. It’s eye-catching, polished, and ready for every environment CRU shows up in—from farmers markets to shelf space.

*
Concept
Tangible, Tasteful, and On-Brand
The final result is a brand that feels as good as the product tastes. It’s current, cool, and designed with intention—giving CRU Kombucha a visual identity that reflects their craft, culture, and community presence. For me, this was more than just a design project—it was a hometown collaboration, and one that made a real impact.
